Wausau Transit, Ltd. is a contract carrier operating specialized flatbed equipment in the continuous United States and Canadian provinces. Originally granted authority in 1981 by the ICC, the company was established to meet the specialized delivery needs of Wausau Tile, Inc, the nation's One Source solution for concrete site furnishings, paving products, pre-cast concrete and terrazzo, as well as terrazzo tile products. While Wausau Transit hauls exclusively for Wausau Tile, Inc, or its subsidiary company Imperial Industries outbound from Wisconsin, we actively solicit freight inbound to the midwest from our entire service area.
